iPad Rollout Complete for Year 5 and Year 6 Pupils

February marked an exciting milestone at Oxclose Primary School as every pupil in Year 5 and Year 6 received their very own iPad as part of a 1:1 device rollout. This initiative, led by Mr Tullock from Laidlaw Schools Trust, saw pupils guided through the unboxing and setup process, helping them to feel confidenct and ready to use their new technology in the classroom and beyond.

Far more than just a gadget, these iPad forma key part of LST's wider mission to empower pupils as creators, not just consumers, of technology. By giving children the freedom to choose their tools and approach, the programme is helping to develop a wide range of essential skills, including communication, critical thinking, collaboration, and problem-solving.
