Reception pupils from Oxclose Primary Academy had a fantastic day out on their recent trip to Hall Hill Farm.

The children loved getting hands-on with the animals, enjoying the chance to pet tiny chicks and a guinea pig, gently stroke a rabbit, and feed a hungry lamb. These close-up animal encounters were a highlight of the visit and were enjoyed by all.

There was lots of excitement as the pupils climbed aboard for a tractor ride, followed by cheers and laughter while watching the thrilling sheep race. The day also included plenty of time to play in the park, adding to the fun and energy of the visit.

The children enjoyed looking at a wide variety of animals throughout the day, including llamas, wallabies, ponies and sheep. Each activity offered new experiences and opportunities to learn outside the classroom.

It was a memorable day full of smiles, learning and new experiences for everyone involved, leaving Reception pupils with happy memories of their time at the farm.
