Our Reception children and their families enjoyed a fantastic Spooky Stay and Play event at Oxclose Primary Academy last week, bringing Halloween fun and learning together.

The classroom was transformed with a range of exciting Halloween-themed activities designed to encourage children to explore, experiment and get creative alongside their families.

From mixing spooky slime potions and taking part in painting activities to tackling counting challenges and exploring creative mark-making, there was plenty to keep everyone busy. The activities gave children the opportunity to develop their early learning skills in a fun and engaging environment while sharing the experience with the people closest to them.

It was wonderful to see so many families getting involved, with children and adults learning, creating and having fun together throughout the afternoon. The fantastic turnout made the event a real success and highlighted the value of bringing families into the classroom to share in their children's learning experiences.

A big thank you to all the families who joined us and helped make our Spooky Stay and Play such a memorable afternoon!
